RAW files delivery.
Here are the important details about the RAF files I deliver and how I work:
RAF Files Specifications: RAF files from Fujifilm cameras are large raw image files containing all captured data from the camera sensor, without any adjustments. Each RAF file is approximately 59MB, limiting the quantity of images delivered per shoot. This format offers maximum flexibility in post-production.
Quantity of RAF Files: I typically deliver 30 to 50 high-resolution RAF images per hour of shooting portraits. Selection of images is at my discretion.
Exposure Variations: As a natural light photographer, expect some exposure variations in the RAF files, as they are intended for post-production adjustments. My shooting style remains consistent regardless of delivering raw files.
Pricing Structure: Rates for RAF files are the same as for fully processed images because more images are delivered per shoot. Rest assured, while RAF files are not the final product, they are crafted to closely resemble the intended end result, with ample room for artistic refinement during post-production.
Photographer's Mention: It's standard practice not to credit the photographer when delivering RAF files. These raw files require post-production to achieve the final intended look, which is integral to the artistic process.
Post-Delivery Editing Responsibilities: Once delivered, I am not involved in further editing processes.
If you have any questions or need clarification, feel free to ask. I'm looking forward to our continued collaboration!
